  THATCHER, Rose Florence Of Dover Street South, Cambridge, on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 88th year. Rose Golding, beloved wife of the late Ralph Wismer (1970) and the late Sid Thatcher (1989). Loving mother of Ruth Ann Roy and her husband Andy of Cambridge, Roberta Wilbee of London and step-daughter, Maureen Dunseath and her husband Paul of Ottawa. Lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Florence Golding. Mrs. Thatcher was born in Galt and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She was employed as a store clerk with Paris Shop. She was a member of Knox Preston Presbyterian Church, Ladies Aid of Knox Presbyterian and the U.K. Club. Private family services were held on Friday, Jan. 18, 2002, at the Barthel Funeral Home, Cambridge. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery. The Record Newspaper 19 Jan 2002 pg B11
