  BECHTEL, Ruth Passed away peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, April 6, 2008, at the age of 79. Beloved wife of 56 years to Elton Bechtel. Loving mother of Louise Bechtel of Clinton, Carol Schwartz of Kitchener, Pauline Bechtel and her partner Bill Paris of Vancouver and the late John Bechtel (1980). Cherished grandmother of Jessie-Lee, Jael and her fiancé Joel Duval, Nathan, Lindsay and Jared. Adored great-grandmother to Dante and Damon Duval. Dear sister of Mabel Brubacher; and sister-in-law to Joy Snyder. Ruth was predeceased by her parents, Ephraim and Louisa Snyder; sister, Almeda (Oliver) Weber; brothers, Angus (Doris) Snyder, Lloyd (Marie) Snyder and Mahlon Snyder and her brother-in-law, Francis Brubacher. Ruth's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, from 10-11 a.m., at the Fairview Mennonite Home, 515 Langs Dr., Cambridge. Funeral Service will take place in the auditorium of Fairview Mennonite Home, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2008, followed by a reception.
