  BECHTEL, Clayton Orville (February 5, 1923 - March 23, 2014) Our Dad told us he was "just waiting for Jesus" and on Sunday, March 23rd, Jesus reached down and gently released him of all pain and suffering. Jesus took his hand and guided him to his heavenly home, there waiting for him was his beloved wife, Mary (Horst) and his oldest son Dennis Ray. Left behind here on earth to miss him dearly are his children, Janice Schultz (Bruce) of Cambridge, Murray Bechtel (Diana) of Waterloo, and Connie Anthony (Mel) of Richmond, B.C. He was a proud grandfather of thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his brother Lester Bechtel. Orville spent many years operating a dairy farm near Breslau, same farm he was born and raised on, before retiring to Fairview, twenty-four years ago. He was a lifetime member of Wanner Mennonite Church. Orville was predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth and Milton, brothers Elton and Roy and sister Hilda. His family would like to thank the Fairview nursing staff, for all their wonderful care and support. Orville's family will welcome friends at the Fairview Auditorium, 515 Langs Drive, Cambridge on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the auditorium on Saturday morning, at 11 a.m. Cambridge Times 27 Mar 2014
