Of 209 Woolwich St., Breslau, at Guelph General Hospital, on her birthday, Sunday, March 21, 1993, age 79 years, Anna Rudy beloved wife of Homer Burkhart; dear mother of Nelson and his wife Joan of Guelph, Delton and his wife Marg of Lucknow, James and his wife Barbara of New Hamburg, Laverne of Kitchener. Edward of Breslau; loving grandmother of seven grandchildren. Also survived by two brothers, Wilfred of Prince Albert, Sask. and Arthur of Waterloo and one sister, Lucille (Mrs. Jesse Markle) of Cambridge. Predeceased by one brother, Howard Rudy and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Berringer. Mrs. Burkhart was born in "Preston" Cambridge and lived all her life in the Cambridge, Kitchener and Guelph areas. A member of Wanner Mennonite Church and a past member of the Guelph Township Horticultural Society. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held, on Wednesday. March 24, 1993, at the Wanner Mennonite Church, 1725 Beaverdale Rd., Cambridge, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Eric Rempel officiating. Interment in Wanner Cemetery, at a later date.
