    • DAVIDGE, Marjorie (Neal)

Peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, in her 91st year, on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001. Loved daughter of the late Albert and Emily Neal. Beloved wife to the late Clifford Davidge (1997). Loving mother of Pam Paterson and to Sergeant Neal Davidge of the RCMP and his wife Isobel; loving grandma to Stephen Paterson and his wife Melanie, Michael Paterson and his dear friend, Melissa, Glen and Trevor Davidge. Lovingly remembered by her niece, Sylvia Westbrook (Neal) and also her many other nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by her many friends at the apartment and her friends, who like Marjorie, enjoyed a good game of solo. Survived by one sister-in-law, Beulah "Davie" Davidge of Oshawa. Predeceased by one brother, Leslie Neal and his wife Madeline; also her son-in-law, Bob Paterson (1999) and her close friend, Louise Terry (2000). Born in Leicester, England and immigrating to Canada with her family at the age of three, where she became a longtime resident of Galt. Marjorie was an active member of the Trinity Anglican Church (Cambridge), where she became a member of the Caroline Ridley Group. Marjorie was employed with the Riverside Silk Mill, for 15 years, until marrying her husband, Clifford in 1942; becoming a housewife and devoting her time to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. Moving to Kitchener, Marjorie joined the St. John's Anglican Church (Kitchener), where she was a member of the over 39'ers group. Special thanks to Dr. Donna Ward, for her compassion and caring nature. Family and friends will be received at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Thursday, at 2 p.m.
