      With dignity, surrounded by family, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, December 17, 2005. Beloved wife of the late William Blackburn (1994). Predeceased by her parents, Lily (1978) and Leonard (1988) Porter and sister and brother-in-law. Beatrice (1986) and Kenneth (1976) Lee. Dear mother of Ann and husband Gordon Miller and Christopher Blackburn. Sadly missed by grandchildren, Ashley and Andrew Miller. Elsie was born in Galt in 1927 and attended Dickson Public School, Galt Collegiate institute, McMaster University, University of Grenoble and the Ontario College of Education. She taught Modern Languages at Etobicoke Collegiate Institute and Galt Collegiate Institute. An avid photographer and traveler, Elsie was a member of the Galt Camera Club, a past president of the Canadian Federation of University Women - Cambridge and a life-long faithful member of Trinity Anglican Church. Family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrew's St., today (Monday) from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted at Trinity Anglican Church, 12 Blair Rd., Cambridge, on Wednesday, December 21, 2005, at 2 p.m. Interment Trinity Anglican cemetery.
