  KNOWLES, Clara It is with great sadness, the family of Clara Knowles (nee Potentier) announce her passing, in her 91st year, on Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at Stirling Heights Long Term Care Centre, with her family present. Clara was the last survivor of her siblings; Walter Germaine, Len Potentier, Alfred Potentier, James Potentier, Albert Potentier, Lily Hobbs and Ada Knowles. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Edward Francis Knowles (1986) and by her mother, Hannah Potentier. She is survived by a son, Edward Knowles of Phoenix, Arizona and a daughter Mary-Anne and son-in-law, Fred Winfield of Cambridge. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, David Knowles (Karen), Donald Knowles (Laura), Gloria McManus (Jim) and Carolyn Costa (Aires) and three great-grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew and Sarah Costa. Visitation will take place at Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrew St.. Cambridge, on Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel, on Saturday, June 10, 2006, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Trinity Cemetery.
