  BAKER, Donald Graham After a short illness, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, Jan. 4, 1996, in his 83rd year, Don Baker, of Cambridge. Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Donson). Dear father of Graham Donald Baker and his wife Janet and one granddaughter, Cinnamon, all of Kitchener. Remembered by one brother, Clifford of Frome, England. He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Elizabeth Baker; one brother, Gordon and one sister, Mavis Burgess. Mr. Baker was born in Frome, Somerset, England and immigrated to Galt in 1952, where he was employed as a precision machinist with Babcock, Wilcox, Goldie & McCulloch. In 1954 he joined Canadian General Electric, in Guelph, when the plant first opened, where he stayed until his retirement in 1978. At the family's request, there will be no visitation. A private family service was conducted, with interment in Trinity Anglican Cemetery. Rev. Don Ford of St. George's Anglican Church, Kitchener officiated. The Record 6 Jan 1996 pg A7
