  VOKEY - Hubert Wayne At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, October 19, 1990, in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of Emma Vokey. Predeceased by his first wife, Mildred Ivany, July 2nd, 1967. Predeceased by parents, Elizabeth and Philip Vokey. Dear father of Wayne of Guelph, Vernon of Cambridge, Nelson of Penticton B.C., Rodger of Cambridge, Linda (Mrs. Walter Jennings) of Cambridge, Glenys (Mrs. William Partridge) of Brantford and Yvonne of Cambridge. Brother of Fred, and Edgar both of Cambridge, Winston of Newfoundland, and Stella (Mrs. Neil) of Simcoe and predeceased by a brother, Gordon Loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren. Hubert was born July 8, 1928, in Bell Island, Newfoundland and was a member of Church Lads Bridgade. A member of St. Augustines Anglican Church Choir, Bell Island Nfld., for eighteen years, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 121, Cambridge and a 25 year member of the Colour Party as Sgt. and a member of the Highland Light Infantry. Mr. Vokey is resting at the COUTTS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, where the family will re ceive friends, Saturday, 3-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 22, 1990, at Trinity Anglican Church, 12 Blair Road, at 10: 00 a.m. Interment Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery.
