  HEDGES, Marion Dorothy Marion in her 80th year, passed away, peacefully, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Friday, Jan. 18, 2002. Marion was a tax collector for the City of Cambridge (Galt) for 32 years, retiring in 1983. She was a chartered member of the Tax Collectors Association of Ontario, a former member of the Zonta Club of Cambridge and a former member of the Business and Professional Women of Cambridge. She was a Cub Mistress with the Boy Scouts at Trinity Anglican Church, for 40 years. She is predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Phoebe Hedges; her brother, Harold and his wife Elsie Hedges and her sister, Bernice Barlow. She is survived by her brother, Dick Hedges and his wife Peggy; her brother-in-law, Bill Barlow; her nephews, Gary Hedges and his wife Margaret, Thomas Barlow and Terry Barlow; niece, Janice Barlow and one grandnephew, Jeremy Hedges. Friends will be received at Coutts & Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrew St., Cambridge, on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Private family services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel, on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002.
