  Mrs. Ernestine Knechtel - an 86 year old widow, Mrs. Ernestine Knechtel, died Tuesday at the Kuhn Rest Home in Heidelberg. Mrs. Knechtel was born June 21, 1871, in Bamberg. She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Kitchener. Surviving are two sons, Otto of Montreal and Carl of Woodstock and two daughters, Mrs. C.A. (Mildred) Leicht and Mrs. Ross (Dorothy) Campbell both of Kitchener. Three grandchildren also survive. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles. Rev. Dr. John Schmieder will conduct funeral services at the Gruhn Funeral Home, Friday at 2 pm. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Unidentified Newspaper Obituary
