      Passed away, peacefully, surrounded by her family, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, age 79 years, of Waterloo, formerly of Port Elgin and Burlington. Mrs. Banks was born in London, England and came to Canada, in 1945. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, in Kitchener. Predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Edmund C. Banks; dearly loved mother of Carol and Bob Richmond, Virginia and David Atkinson, Susan and Steve Milligan, Geoff and Beth Banks, David and Linda Banks and Janet and Glenn Lewis. Loving grandmother of Bruce and Darlene. Michael and Erin, Julie and Cathy, Gary and Tina, Shari and Paul, Amanda, Lindsay and Peter, Daryl and Sasha, Graham, Kelly and Christopher. Loving great-grandmother of Sarah, Mitchell, Megan, Mark, Devin, Drew, Jessica, Jaimi and Joey. Also survived by her sister, Vera Todd and her brother, Arthur Shaw (Marie) and sisters and brother-in-law, Hilda and Sandy Banks, Molly Banks and Aileen Shaw. Dearly missed by very special friends in England, Eileen and Harold Belcher. Mrs. Bank’s family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, this evening (Monday) from 7-9 p.m. The complete funeral service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 23 Water St. N., Kitchener, on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Canon Neil Carver officiating. Cremation to follow.
