- Killed by Insect Powder
Farmer Gets Some of it into a cut and Blood Poisoning Ensues.
Galt, Jan 15 - James Keachie, a well-known farmer who lived near Galt, died Monday as a result of blood poisoning. While working about his barn some days ago he got some particles of an insect powder into a small cut in his lip, and blood poisoning developed shortly afterwards. Mr. Keachie had spent his entire life in the community, and was highly respected by all. A wife and three children survive him. He had recently sold his farm with the intention of removing to this town within a few weeks.
