FARMER HELD ON SERIOUS CHARGE; $3,000 BAIL
Thomas Costello. of Monkton, appeared before Magistrate J. A. Makins in police court on Saturday. charged with criminal negligence. the aftermath of a fatal accident near Mitchell. Tuesday night, Sept. 29. He elected trial by jury and was released on bail of $3,000, Costello was driving a hay rock without a light when a car crashed into the rear of the rack, on the Mitchell-Kennicott highway. William Sylander, 32, of Kitchener, a passenger in the car, was almost instantly killed.
