- Schuett, Wilbert Charles (Wib) - Peacefully, at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002. Wilbert (Wib) C. Schuett, in his 89th year, was the beloved husband of the late Margaret (Bruder) Schuett (1993). Loving father of Will (Bev) Schuett, John (Joan) Schuett and Mary (Ken) Hebden, all of Guelph. Loving grandfather of Paul, Kurt (Lisa), Stephen, Stacey and Sandra Schuett and Karla, Eric and Patrick Hebden and Katie (Pete) Panopoulos; great-grandfather of Alexis and Mikayla Schuett and Dyan and Hana Panopoulos; dear brother of Carl (Therese) Schuett, Anna Zettel and Loretta Daub, all of Kitchener and Edith and Clara Schuett, of Maryhill. Predeceased by his sister, Marie Grundy and his brother Clarence Schuett. Wib was a painting contractor for over 40 years and an avid horseshoe player. He was recently inducted into the Ontario Horseshoe Hall of Fame. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph where the family will receive friends today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002 at 9: 30 a.m. Interment at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. A vigil for Wilbert will take place this evening (Monday) at 8 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
