    • NORMAN G. COOK 1922 - 2005 Suddenly, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, age 83 years. Loving father of Earl, Margaret and her husband Ken Sonier of Waterloo and Randy and his wife Dianne of Kitchener. Cherished grandfather of Steven and Sherri, James, Kim and Jerry and Kevin and Tiffani. Dear brother of Roy Cook and John Cook and his wife Hazel of Lisbon. He will be fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Florence Jacobs, Ralph Wilhelm, Florence Sebert, Inez and Arnold Voll, Joey Jacobs, Bill McNab and Bernel and Dorothy Jacobs. Norm is also survived by Mona, Irene Glab and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Violet (Jacobs) December 12, 1999; parents, Anna (Foerster) and David Cook; stillborn daughter, Betty Ann and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Gordon and Maurice Jacobs, John Sebert, Roy Fetter, Hazel McNab and Eileen Wilhelm. Norm was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Bridgeport and a former member of St. James Lutheran Church, North Easthope Township. He was a stationary engineer for Uniroyal, a member of the Institute of Power Engineers, Historical Society of Canada and the Waterloo Historical Society. Friends are invited to share their memories of Norm with his family at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Bridgeport, on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, 11 a.m., with Rev. Michael Hackbusch officiating. Immediately following the service, friends and relatives are invited to remain at the church for refreshments and a time to visit with the family. The committal service will follow at St. James Lutheran Cemetery, North Easthope Township at 2: 30 p.m. In memory of Norm, donations to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Bridgeport or St. Mary's Cardiac Care Centre would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and can be arranged through the funeral home.
