Mrs. Peter Grant died on Monday at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Peter Sickles, west of Galt, in the 78th year of her age.
The deceased Mrs. Grant came from Scotland early in life and resided for the greater part of her life in this section, living for many years one mile west of town. She was an estimable lady and had many sincere friends in the neighborhood. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and a faithful attendant at all the services. Besides her daughter. Mrs. Sickles, she leaves three sons. Mr. John Grant of Harrisburg, Mr. James Grant of Fort Erie, and Mr. Alex., Grant of Chicago, to mourn the loss of a loving mother.
She was laid to rest in the Presbyterian cemetery on Wednesday afternoon.
