- Charles H. Everatt
Charles H. Everatt, a well known resident of Elmira for nearly 60 years passed away of heart failure on Friday afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. W Adams at Macton, where he was living. In the afternoon he mentioned to some members of the family that he was going out with his dog for a tramp. He had not returned when the family came in from work at supper time and a short search found him dead in the barn with his dog beside him.
The deceased was 72 years of age and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Everatt, of Haysville. He with two brothers conducted a butcher shop in Elmira a number of years ago. Surviving are his sisters, Mrs. W. Adams at Macton. and a brother, Godfrey, of Hamilton.
The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon from the residence of W. Adams at Macton to Elmira Cemetery.
