  GUILTY OF HOUSEBREAKING PHILIP RELLINGER RANSACKED A HOUSE ON SHARON STREET ON SATURDAY EVENING. Philip Rellinger, an 18-year-old youth, appeared in Police Court this morning charged with house-breaking, pleaded guilty and was remanded for sentence. Rellinger, who was released from the Industrial School but a month ago, on Saturday evening broke into the residence of Wm. May, corner of Sharon and Wellington stteets, and ransacked the house, apparently in search of money. Chairs were upset, carpets turned back, the contents of drawers tossed about and things generally disarranged. Mr. May states that he has missed nothing. He had $80 laid away in a drawer, but fortunately this was overlooked by Rellinger. It is also stated that the prisoner made two attempts early Sunday morning to enter houses on King street, although he denies this charge. He was remanded to jail for a few days, and in the meanwhile he will be examined by the jail surgeon, indications pointing to the fact that he is mentally deficient.
