    • Mrs. Amelia Hahn

      Mrs. Amelia Hahn, 97, of 12 Agnes St., died at her home Friday after a brief illness. She was born March 27, 1865, in Germany and had lived in Kitchener for 80 years. She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.

      Her husband, Adam Hahn, died Jan. 22, 1943.

      Surviving are two sons, Henry of Kitchener and Clarence of Detroit; five daughters, Mrs. Charles (Margaret) Kavelman, Mrs. John (Florence) Bendig and Gertrude Hahn, all of Kitchener, Mrs. Reginald (Eleanor) Petch of Detroit, and Mrs. Wilfred (Dorothy) Candler of Preston, 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother and a sister.

      The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until Monday, then at the chapel of St. Matthew's Church where friends may pay their respects until the service. The funeral will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dr. John Schmieder officiating. Burial will be in Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery.
