  ALLAN, Ella - Peacefully, with her family at her side, at St. Andrews Terrace, Cambridge, on Sunday, August 15, 2004, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late James Reid Allan (1998). Dear father of Dr. Douglas Allan and his wife Lois Miller of Cambridge, David Allan and his wife Barbara of St. Catharines and Donald Allan and his wife Barbara of Cambridge and predeceased by a daughter, Patricia (1948). Dear grandmother of Amy, Kendra, Mitchell, Reid, Kristina, Alissa, Dustin, Danny, and Breanne and great-grandmother of Carina, Mason and Donivan. Sister of Ruby Bauman of St. Jacobs and Violet Martin of Fergus and predeceased by a brother, Harry Bender. Mrs. Allan was a long time member of First United Church and the UCW and was a former teacher, having taught at Manchester and Lincoln Avenue School. Private family services were conducted at Little's Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 223 Main St. S., Cambridge (today) Tuesday, August 17, 2004 with Rev. Hilary and Robert Merritt officiating. Interment Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge. Remembrances to First United Church, 15 Wellington Street, Cambridge N1R 3Y4 or the charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
