  ALLAN, Major George - At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Thursday, August 12, 1999 in his 70th year. George was a retired Major with the Salvation Army with 40 years of service. Beloved husband of Inge. Dear father of Heather and her husband Ed Quiring of Toronto, Dale and wife Alice of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Robert and wife Kathy of Cambridge. Loving grandfather of Dylan, Lindsay, Kalyn and Savanna. At George's request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Memorial Service will be conducted at the Salvation Army Cambridge Citadel, 12 Shade Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, August 18, 1999 at 7 p.m. with Major Jim Reid and Major Harvey Canning officiating. Cremation has taken place. Remembrances may be made to the Salvation Army Cambridge Citadel Memorial Fund and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
