  ALLEN, George Edward - At the Cambridge Country Manor on Saturday July 9th, 1988 in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Rose Allen, who predeceased him in 1986. Dear father of Rose (Mrs. Thomas Holmes) of Cambridge, Harry of Newport News, Virginia and George Jr. of Cambridge. Predeceased by four brothers and one sister. Loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private family service will be held at the Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, followed by cremation.
