    • ALTON - Charles Marshall (Marsh) on Thursday, August 29th, 1991 at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital in his 72nd year. Marsh Alton of Cambridge beloved husband of Doris Alton (nee Lane) and loving father of Joan Shorthouse and her husband Bruce of Stratford, and Linda Alton of St. Thomas. Dear grandfather of Jennifer, and Kevin Shorthouse of Stratford and brother of Hugh Alton and his wife Irene of Guelph. Marsh Alton owned and operated Alton's Groceries for 25 years and was a member of Forward Baptist Church. Friends will be received at Little's Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, East, Cambridge Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted at the Funeral Home Chapel Saturday 1: 00 p.m. with Reverend Bill Fietje and Reverend William Cameron officiating. Interment Everton Cemetery, Everton. Remembrances to the Alzheimers Society of Cambridge, 660 Coronation Blvd., N1R 3G2 would be appreciated by the Alton Family.
