  ALVES, Manuel Sr. - Passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday June 6th 1988. Manuel Alves of 16 Pollock Avenue in his 77th year. Beloved husband of the late Maria Marujo and dear father of Manuel of Cambridge. Also survived by three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Alves was predeceased by one brother and two sisters. Born at Ermelo, Portugal on January 18th, 1912 and has been a resident of Cambridge for the last 12 years. Resting at the Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, where the family will receive friends this evening from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church on Thursday June 9th at 10 a.m. Interment Mount View Cemetery.
