      Aaron F. Schenk of 55 John St. E., Waterloo, died Saturday at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 72.

      Born Nov. 17, 1896, in Normanby Township, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Schenk and lived in Waterloo for the past 42 years. He was employed at B.F. Goodrich Canada Ltd. for 33 years, retiring seven years ago. Mr. Schenk was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo.

      Surviving are his wife, the former Laura Oehm; two sons, Aaron Jr., and Lawrence, both of Kitchener; four daughters, Mrs. Karl (Doris) Riemer, Mrs. Thomas (Audrey) Barron, and Mrs. James (Lucille) McGinnis, all of Kitchener, and Mrs. Murray (Lorraine) Hilker, Waterloo; two brothers, Isadore, Ayton, and Theodore, Clifford; three sisters, Mrs. Eldon (Lorena) Gerbracht, Waterloo; Mrs. George (Lillian) Widmeyer, and Mrs. Allister (Mabel) Damm, both of Ayton, and 14 grand- children. He was predeceased by one son, Vincent, three brothers, and three sisters.

      The body will be at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, Waterloo, until Tuesday noon when removal will be made to St. John's Lutheran Church for service at 2 p.m. Rev. A. L. Conrad will officiate. Burial will be in Memory Gardens.
