      The funeral took place this afternoon of the late Mr. Daniel Knorr, who passed away at his residence, 127 Tuerk street, on Friday, March 12th. After a brief service at the home a public service was held at the First English Lutheran Church, Rev. H. J. Behrens officiating. Interment took place at Mount Hope cemetery, Waterloo. The deceased was in his 77th year and has been a resident of Berlin for 24 years. He is survived by his aged widow and nine children.

      MR. DANIEL KNORR, SR.

      The funeral of the late Daniel Knorr, sr.. whose death occurred at 11.30 on Friday evening, at his home at 127 Tuerk street, took place this afternoon at 2 o'clock from his late residence.

      He was aged 76 years, 7 months and 13 days. He leaves a wife and nine children to mourn his loss. The daughters who survive are Lizzie. (Mrs. L Leaper) of Berlin; Maggie, (Mrs. Hasenpflug). of Winterbourne: Clara (Mrs. Winkler) and Lydia. (Mrs. Kraft) of Waterloo; and Emma, (Mrs.
      Emerson) of Berlin.

      The sons who survive the father are Daniel P. of Berlin; Theobald, of Crediton: David, of New Hamburg; and Robert. of Conestogo.

      The remains were taken to the First English Lutheran Church, where Rev. H. J. Behrens held services. Many friends and acquaintances attended the last sad rites.

      A number of beautiful floral offering showed the esteem in which the deceased was held. After the services, the cortege wended its way to Mount Hope cemetery where the remains were intered.

      The pallbearers were: Messrs. C. H. Hohmeier, W. T. Sass., M. S. Burkholder, C. Lossing, A. J. Bock and Frank J. King.
