      BLAIR - Peter Gernilius Pettersen, 64, of Blair died today at his home after a brief illness.
      Born in Norway, he moved to Canada in 1924 and lived in Alberta. He lived in Kitchener from 1927 until 1942 when he moved to Blair. He retired from farming in 1962. He was an adherent of the Baptist Church Blair.
      Surviving are his wife Lillie Geiger; one son, Walter Julius and one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Dorothy) Kinzie both of Blair; one brother Einar of Norway; four sisters all of Norway and three grandchildren.
      The body is at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, Preston, where service will be held Monday at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be in Blair cemetery.
