  SCHMIDT, Lloyd P. - On Thursday, Oct. 18 at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Lloyd Philip Schmidt, of Route 1, Gads Hill. He was born in North Easthope Township, 87 years ago, son of the late George Schmidt and the late Maria Knechtel. He was a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church, North Easthope and was also a former superintendent of the Sunday School of the church. Beloved husband of Malenda Wagner; dear father of Wilbert and Meynetta (Mrs. Ivan Stueck), both of Gads Hill. Also survided (sic) by two grandchildren, Kathryn and James Stueck. He was predeceased by one brother Roy. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley, where the family will receive friends Saturday evening 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. At noon Monday, Oct 22, the remains will be removed to St. James Lutheran Church, North Easthope, for service at 2: 30.
