  Mrs. Henry Merklinger TAVISTOCK - Mrs. Henry Merklinger, 82, of 68 William Street, Tavistock, died Friday night at Avon Crescent Hospital, Stratford. Mrs. Merklinger had been a patient there since June of 1964. She was the former Emma Marie Schneider and was born on July 3, 1883, in East Zorra Township. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a member of the Ladies' Aid and Lutheran Women's Mission League. She was also organist for the congregation for many years. Mrs. Merklinger was predeceased by her husband in July of 1949. Surviving are a son, Lorne of Kitchener; a daughter, Mrs. Henry (Freida) Neeb of RR 1, Gadshill; a brother, George of Kitchener; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body will be at the James H. Francis Funeral Home until noon Monday, when removal will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Rev. Otto Brillinger will officiate at the service to be held at 2:30 pm. Temporary entombment will be in the Stratford cemetery with later burial to be in St. Paul's cemetery in Tavistock.
