      Suddenly, at home on Saturday, September 9, 2006, in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of Judi (nee Eckensviller) of 41 years. Dear father of Susan, Gary (Gayle) and Michael. Loving grandfather of Julia and Jade. Survived by his sister, Yvonne (Gord) Lobsinger and his brother Tom (Val). Predeceased by his father Walter and his mother Margaret. Richard was a teacher and principal in the Waterloo Catholic District School Board for 34 years. He was also an active member of Blessed Sacrament Parish and president of the St. Vincent De Paul Society. Richard touched the lives of students, teachers and members of the community through the strength of guidance and kindness of words. Above all else, his family was the centre of his world. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W. , Kitchener on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p. m. Parish prayers at 8:30 p. m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament RC Church, 305 Laurentian Drive, Kitchener on Wednesday at 10:30 a. m. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener. Reception to follow at the Parish Hall.
