- HEIMPEL, Addison - Of 105 Henry St., Wellesley, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 1992, at K-W Hospital, Kitchener.
He was born in Wellesley Township 79 years ago. He had farmed at RR 3, Wellesley until his retirement in 1968 and also worked for the Region of Waterloo Roads Department for 10 years.
He was the son of the late William Heimpel and the former Salome Schmitt. Survived by his wife the former Dorothy Heipel; one son, Wayne and his wife Reta of St. Agatha; one sister, Marie Heimpel of Waterloo; four grandchildren, Denice and her husband Dave Prokowich of Waterloo, Paul, Lacie and Patricia and also by two great-grandchildren, William and Blake. He was predeceased by two brothers.
The late Mr. Heimpel will be resting at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley, where the family will receive friends this evening (Thursday) from 7-9 pm and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. On Saturday morning, removal will be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Wellesley, for a memorial service at 11 am. Burial will be in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. William Minke will officiate, assisted by Murray Heimpel.
