  Mrs. Henry L Knechtel - by Record Correspondent - ELMIRA - Mrs. Henry L. Knechtel, 43 King St., Elmira, died Friday at her home after an illness of seven weeks. She was the former Mary Ann Otto, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Otto of North Easthope. She was born Aug. 9, 1879. She lived in the North Easthope district until seven years ago when her husband retired from farming and they moved to Elmira. She was a member of St. James's Lutheran Church. Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Theodore (Pearl) Hammer of Elmira; and one sister, Mrs. Catherine Schmidt of Unionville, Ont. The body will rest at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor until Monday at 1 p.m. when removal will be made to St. James's Church. The funeral service will be held Monday at 2: 30 p.m. at the church with burial in St. James's Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. H. W. Baetz will officiate.
