  KOUSAL, Mathew F. - At St. Mary's Hospital, on Saturday, March 17, 1990, following a brief illness, Mathew Kousal, of RR 1, Waterloo, age 88 years. Mr. Kousal was born in Brno, Czechoslovakia. He immigrated to Canada in 1927 and made his home in Chatham, where his reputation as an artist was established. He moved to Kitchener in 1946 and continued his career as a landscape artist having painted over 12,000 pictures in his artistic career. As a lifetime member of the rotary club, he had a special interest with crippled children. He was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Francis. He is survived by his three daughters, Jarmila and her husband Jerry Weaver of Waterloo and Ann Pommer of Elmira and Francis Stoll of Cambridge. Eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Wednesday, March 21, at 11 a.m. Unidentified Newspaper Obituary
