  RITTER, Mrs. Elmore (Melinda) - On Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1987, at her home, RR 2, Elmira, Melinda Hossfeld, beloved wife of Elmore Ritter, in her 78th year. Dear mother of Alethea and her husband David Williams of Toronto, Philip Ritter and his wife Jean of Puslinch, Miriam and her husband John Houghton of Ottawa and Linda and her husband Keith Snider of RR 2, Elmira. Lovingly remembered by 12 grandchildren, Joanne and her husband Rick Bond of Waterloo, Suzanne, Catherine and David Williams of Toronto, Gregory Ritter of Puslinch and Cheryl Ritter of Florida, Barbara, Jennifer and Jeffery Houghton of Ottawa and Richard, Jeanette and Steven Snider of RR 2, Elmira and two great-grandchildren, Christopher and Laura Bond. She was the last surviving member of the George Hossfeld family of Walkerton. Predeceased by three brothers and five sisters. Friends and relatives may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, today (Thursday), 7-9 p.m. and Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. On Saturday at noon, removal will be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Conestogo, for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
