  POTH, (Bechtel), Ruby Catherine - Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2003. Ruby was a lifelong resident of New Dundee, where she was born August 7, 1914. She was the daughter of the late Mervin and Adeila (Brighton) Bechtel. Beloved wife of the late Harold Poth, who predeceased her in 1985. Loving mother of Richard and Joyce Poth of Milton Don and Beth Poth of New Dundee. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Brian of Toronto, Cheryl of Kingston, Andrea of Milton, Julie and husband Kevin Dopko and their son Nathan of Kitchener and Amy and husband Elliot Fung of New Dundee. Also missed by her brother Wilbert (Butch) Bechtel of New Dundee, sisters-in-law Ruth Bechtel, Gertrude Bechtel, both of Cambridge and bother-in-law Glen and Elaine Poth of Waterloo and a number of nieces and nephews. Ruby was predeceased by brothers Percy, George (Joe), and sister Doris and Stuart Rosenberger. Ruby was a lifelong faithful member of New Dundee Baptist Church where she served as Clerk for 40 years and was also a Dominion Life Member of the Baptist Women's Missionary Society. She has had a keen interest in the children of the church and community. The joy of her life was serving her Lord in her church and her family. She will be deeply missed by her family, her friends, her church and her neighbours. Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron New Hamburg, tonight (Saturday) from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Monday, October 27, 2003 at 1: 30 p.m. at the funeral home.
