  Lukas, Aleksander (Alex) - At Sunnyside Home, on Monday, Jan. 22, 1990, Aleksander (Alex) Lukas, aged 87 years, of 247 Franklin St. N., Kitchener. Beloved husband of the late Clara Lukas (nee Manikowski). Dear father of Allan, Ronald and his wife Dianne, Roy and his wife Annette, all of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by his eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents; his daughter, Sandra; and his great-great-granddaughter, Sandra. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 2 pm today (Tuesday) continuing until Wednesday 10:30 am, when prayers will be said at the funeral home, followed by the funeral mass and committal service at St. Teresa's RC Church at 11 am, Father Peter Watters officiating. Interment Kitchener mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario may be made as expressions of sympathy. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. Parish prayers will be said at the funeral home tonight (Tuesday) at 7 pm.
