  RATZ: David A. - Suddenly, at K-W Hospital, on Thursday, March 12, 1987, David Alexander Ratz, of 77 Maplewood Place, Kitchener. Mr. Ratz was a member of Trinity United Church, former chairman of the board of Parkwood Manor; retired from Mutual Life Insurance Co., after 40 years and served overseas in the Second World War as captain in the artillery. Beloved husband of the former Dorothy (Dot) Shiry, dear father of David and Susan (Mrs. Ron Mark) all of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Jaclyn and Tim. Predeceased by his parents. A funeral and committal service will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel, 621 King St. W. Kitchener, on Saturday at 2:30.p.m. with E.E. Kent and Rev. Harry Herlihey officiating. Interment Elmira Union cemetery.
