    • Austin Schweitzer

      Austin Schweitzer, 77, of 232 Oxford St., died Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness.

      He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Schweitzer of Mannheim and farmed at Roseville for 20 years. He was employed by Massey-Ferguson Ltd. at Brantford for 15 years and came to Kitchener five years ago when he retired.

      Mr. Schweitzer was a member of Charles Street United Brethren Church.

      Surviving are his wife, the former Nellie Sherk whom he married in Roseville in 1911; three sons, Clifford of Kitchener, Delton and Clare of Galt; two daughters, Mrs. Grant (Helen) Jackson of London, Ont. and Mrs. Ralph (Marjorie) Bale of Woodstock; a brother, Ezra of Sundre, Alta.; two sisters, Selina of Blair and Mrs. Ada Sage of RR 2, Galt; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

      One son, Clinton, died in 1919 and a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Holtzhauer in 1969. Two sisters and five brothers also predeceased him.

      The body will be at the Ratz- Bechtel Funeral Home until 11 a.m. Wednesday when remov al will be made to Charles Street United Brethren Church for service at 2 p.m Rev. A Ward Woolner will officiate and burial will be in Roseville cemetery.

      Donations to the Women's Missionary Society of the church will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
