  BRANDT, Mrs. Nelson (Nettie) - At the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital, on Mon., Dec. 24, 1973, after a lengthy illness. Marie Renata (Nettie) Bartscher of 39 Homewood Ave., age 72 years; a resident of the Twin Cities for the past 55 years, a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, born in Eganville, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Bartscher; wife of Nelson W. Brandt; sister of Leonard, Ottawa, George and Wilfrid of Eganville; predeceased by four sisters and one brother. Friends may call at the Ratz Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener. Funeral and commital service in the chapel Wed. at 3 p.m. with Rev. John Korcok officiating. Interment Mount Hope cemetery.
