    • Christian Kropf, 79, died early yesterday at his late residence, 54 West Ave., following a lengthy illness. Born Oct. 14, 1865 in Wilmot Township, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Kropf. He attended St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. Surviving besides his wife, the former Annie Schuster, are one son, Gordon of Kitchener; a daughter, Mrs. Henry (Clara) Schacht of Kitchener, two brothers, Joseph of Port Huron, Mich., and Noah of Elmira; also a sister, Mrs. Henry Kinsie of Kitchener. Five grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive. Remains are resting at the late residence, 54 West Ave., from where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1: 30 p.m. followed by a church service at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church at 2p.m. Burial will be made in Mount Hope Cemetery. Rev. Dr. John Schneider, pastor of the church will officiate.
