- ANGUS, Frank Douglas "Scotty" - Passed away peacefully at his home in Cambridge with his family by his side on Friday, March 6, 1998 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of 54 years of Vera (nee Ferris) Angus. Dear father of Larry and his wife Patricia and Nancy Demmery all of Cambridge. Loving Grandpa of Lee, Chad and Cole Demmery. Father-in-law of Frank Demmery. Also survived by sisters Mary and her husband Frank Bates of Burlington, and Margaret Chadwick of Orillia and sister-in-law Betty Angus. Predeceased by his brother Alex Angus Jr. of Waterford. Scotty is brother-in-law to Lloyd and Jean Overholt, Charlie and Betty Ferris, Alice Newberry, Ruth Nelson and Pat Ferris. Scotty formerly of Waterford was a resident of Cambridge for the past forty years. Scotty was a veteran of World War II where he served as a pilot in the R.C.A.F. and was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 121. He retired as a superintendent from the Ministry of the Environment. Our heartfelt thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at Medical Daycare and Paramed for their excellent care, kindness and thoughtfulness during Scotty's illness. A special thank-you to Dr. Gowing and to Kim of Paramed Services for her care and guidance. At Scotty's request there will be no visitation or Funeral Service, cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital-Medical Daycare would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
