    • APEL, Wilfred - Peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Friday, December 19, 2008, at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband to the late Wilma Apel (1998). Loving father to Judy and her husband Dave Seibert, and son David and his wife Valerie. Cherished brother to Dorothy and her husband Ken Sproat. Wilfred will be forever remembered by his loving grandchildren, Mark and Heather Ford, Mary Jane and Dave Thomas, Sherry and Jim O'Brien, Scott, Jennifer, Kevin (Leah) Apel, Stephanie and Nathan Stretch. He will be greatly missed by his great-grandchildren, Sabrina, Taylor, Natalie, James, Patrick and Neleh. Predeceased by his parents, Freeman and Ruby and by his son, Tim (Dianne) Apel. Wilfred was a member of the Galt curling club, an avid golfer and a Second World War Veteran. He worked for 38 years at Walker Exhaust as a tool and dye maker. He loved to spend time with his family. His children and grandchildren gave him great joy. Times at the cottage, card games, back rubs, fishing and ice cream trips will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at T. Little's Funeral Home, 223 Main St. E., on Monday, December 22 (today) from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow.
