Notes - ARMSTRONG, Robert William - Passed away suddenly at home on February 15, 2010. Robert Armstrong of Orillia, formerly of Hespeler, in his 56th year; beloved step-dad to Marj (Joe) Meiers of Cambridge, Tracy (Jim) Wolfe also of Cambridge, Terry (Tammy) Zieman of Edmonton AB, and Andy (Angela) Cameron of Rimbey, AB. Loving papa to Jeremy, Jessica, and Ben Meiers; Nicole and Lauren Kells; Becky and Bryce Zieman; and Amanda Cameron. Dear brother of Wendy Armstrong of Waterloo. Predeceased by his parents Marcella and Lorne Armstrong. Bob will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, family, friends and co-workers. It has been Bob's wish to have his body donated for science; there will be a memorial gathering held on March 6, 2010 at Ernie's Roadhouse (7 Queen Street West, Cambridge) from 2: 00 - 6: 00 p.m. Robert was a long standing resident of Hespeler, and owner/operator of Beehive Taxi, has spent over 30 years as a truck driver, and is part of the Million Mile Club with Jackson Transport, Orillia. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater Street East, Orillia, (705) 326-3595. If desired, memorial donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
