Notes - ARNOLD, Lloyd William: Of James Street Cambridge, peacefully following a long illness at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Tuesday May 21, 1996 in his 82nd year. Devoted husband of Barbara M. (Knowles) Arnold and dear father of Patricia Francis Novotny and her husband Franz and Jacqueline Barbara Arnold all of Cambridge. Also survived by four grandchildren Sarah Elizabeth, Pamela Christine, Amy Michelle Mavin and Rachel Christine Novotny. Lloyd Arnold was a long time resident of Cambridge, a retired chartered Accountant, a member of the Galt Kiwanis Club having served as Secretary Treasurer for 15 years, and had served overseas with the R.C.A.F. during WWII and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Galt Branch 121. At the request of the family, there will be no visitation. Cremation. Private interment services will be held at Mount View Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Chronic Care Wing would be appreciated by the family. A special Thank You to the Nurses and staff of the 5th floor long term care wing of Cambridge Memorial Hospital for their care, dedication and compassion. Arrangements entrusted to the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, Ontario 740-0669.
