  BAIRD, Alexander Kenneth (Ken) - Of Vine Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, March 30, 1994 at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Betty Mogg and dear father of Keith and his wife Wendy of Toronto, John and his wife Jackie of Parry Sound, Eric and his wife Rose-Mary of Cambridge, Matthew and his wife Heather of Toronto, Roger and his wife Jennifer of Ottawa and Alexandra and her husband Larry of Cambridge. Also survived by 1 sister, Georgie Baird-Lewis of Brantford and 2 aunts, Jean and Christina of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by 10 grandchildren. Ken was born in Galt and has lived in Cambridge all his life. He was a retired Plant Manager for Canada Machinery Corp., a member of St. John's Anglican church, and an active member of the Seniors Woodworking Club, Cambridge. He was also a WWII Veteran serving overseas with the Royal Canadian Navy. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Thursday (today) from 7-9 pm and Friday 204 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church on Saturday, April 2, 1994 at 2: 30 pm with Rev. David Bowyer officiating. Interment in Mount View Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. John's Anglican Church, 567 Queenston road, Cambridge N3H 3J9 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, PO Box 32083, Cambridge N3H 5M2 would be appreciated by the family.
