  BALKWILL, Myrtle Elizabeth - Passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, August 12, 2001, in her 90th year. Loving wife of the late Edward Balkwill. Beloved mother of Larry Balkwill of Vancouver and June Calvin and her husband Tom of Wappingers Falls, N.Y. Cherished grandmother of Dawn Calvin. Myrtle is survived by her brother, Jim Keachie and his wife Doreen and sister, Margery Payette; step-sister, Elsie Ready; sister-in-law, Elsie Thompson and her husband Ernest; brother-in-law, William Nunn, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one brother and two sisters and her sister-in-law, Rose Nunn. Myrtle was an active member of Avenue Road Baptist Church for 75 years. She was also a member of the Red Cross Association and the Leper Mission. At Myrtle's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Avenue Road Baptist Church, Avenue Road, Cambridge on Monday, August 20, 2001 at 11: 30 am. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Avenue Road Baptist Church or to Leprosy Relief Canada. Cambridge Reporter - Aug 2001
