  Late A. J. Rogers A Native Of Peel Succumbs To Lingering Illness at Kitchener; Leaves Widow and Family of Four Following an illness of several years the death occurred in Kitchener on Monday, March 12, of Albert James Rogers aged 58 years, 10 months and 12 days. The late Mr. Rogers was born in Peel Township, near Dorking, on April 5, 1870. He was married to Letitia Fear in 1903. They farmed on the Elora road for 12 years. Owing to ill health they were forced to discontinue farming. He is survived by his widow and four children, Gordon and Howard of Elmira; Dorothy, of Toronto; and Elwood. A daughter, Viola, died four years ago. Five sisters also survive: Mrs. Thomas Brocks, Vancouver; Mrs. Thomas Gilmore, Bridgeport, Sask.; Mrs. George Bell, Listowel; Mrs. George Brooks and Mrs. George Hergert, of Elmira. A sister, Mrs. Oliver Jackson, died two years ago. The funeral was held today (Thursday) at 2 o'clock from the residence of George Hergert, Arthur Street to the Evangelical church, for service, and thence to the Elmira Cemetery.
