  ARISS, Gertrude Marie (nee Ball) - Passed away, peacefully, at St. Luke's Place, Cambridge on October 13, 2006 at the age of 90. A lifelong resident of Cambridge, Mrs. Ariss was born in Preston in 1916 and was a faithful member of King Street Baptist Church since 1934. Surviving her is her husband, Griffin G. Ariss; step-sons, Hugh Ariss (Ruth Mary) and John Ariss (Sharon) as well as six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, Robert G. Ball (Marjorie). Marie is predeceased by late husbands, Joseph P. Thompson and Dr. J.W. Gerbracht and by parents Rowland and Flora Ball. A memorial service celebrating Marie's life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006 at 2 o'clock at King Street Baptist Church.
