  A former resident of Elmira, Miss Gertrude Goodwin, 50, of 147 Balsam Ave., Hamilton, died suddenly Wednesday, February 24, at the Hamilton General Hospital. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Goodwin, she was born April 7, 1903, in Peel Township. She is survived by three brothers. Wilbert. R.R. 1, Wallenstein; Roy of Kitchener and Clifford of Moorefield. Funeral services were held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Chapel here. Burial was in Glen Allan Cemetery with Rev. C.
